Black Spoke Pro Cycling is a New Zealand based UCI Continental team.

Backhouse Design provided creative direction, designed the brand identity and clothing for the team.

The brief was to develop an identity that would resonate with the New Zealand public as a national cycling team at its core. Black is a key colour, with the addition of blue, the silver fern, and Southern Cross stars. These iconic national symbols give strong visual cues as to the identity, and country of origin when the team races locally, and abroad.

The jersey design incorporates thin black spokes in an arrowhead formation, signifying movement and the teams desire for continuous improvement.
